This is the heartwarming moment a schoolboy, who was nervous about an exam, spent the whole time hugging his teacher.

Teacher Christine B. Sobrepena-Mapalo was handing out test papers to her grade one pupils when Kyrie tightly embraced her.

Footage shows the boy clinging to her throughout the class in La Union, the Philippines, on September 9.

Christine said: 'Kyrie wasn't feeling well, so I had to comfort him. He said he needed a long, tight hug, but we couldn't delay the exam, so we both agreed that he could hug me while the test continued. He had to follow me around since the exam needed to go on.

'Kyrie has always been very affectionate and clingy with me and his classmates. His parents had also informed me about his affectionate nature, which helped me manage the situation better.'
