This is the moment a furious yak damages several cars after smashing them with its horns on a busy road in China.

It is unclear why the animal behaved aggressively, but a few cars that tried to get past escaped and were damaged following the incident in the Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture on September 15.

Footage shows the beast attacking a white car that attempts to sneak past. Its wickedly sharp horns dig into the vehicle, and others who pass are similarly struck.

In the next vehicle, the driver gets out to photograph the damage as the yak disappears.

At the end of the video, the driver who filmed the incident emerges to find that the huge cattle have also damaged his car.

It was not revealed who would cover the costs of repairs for the various vehicles. By the time discussions began, the massive animal had disappeared.
