This is the astonishing moment a woman jumped out of the passenger seat and stopped an oncoming car - so her husband could cut into the law.

Elexio Kim witnessed the local standing in front of his sedan to prevent him from moving forward in the line of traffic on a busy road in Singapore, on September 15.

Dashcam footage shows the woman placing her hand on the hood of Elexio's car and signalling her partner to manoeuvre in front.

She stepped back as the driver gradually accelerated, even scolding him to give way and stop moving.

After successfully positioning the car in front of the man, she immediately climbed back inside the vehicle.

The driver said: 'It was the weirdest thing I have ever encountered on the road. I never knew people like that existed.'
