Bear caught on camera dancing when it thought nobody was watching
This is the amusing moment a bear was caught on camera dancing in the forest, believing nobody was watching.
The animal was spotted chilling out by woodlands ranger Maxim Skutin in the Kronotsky Reserve in eastern Russia's Kamchatka Peninsula on September 17.
As it stands on its hind legs, it grinds its hips while scratching its back with a nearby tree.
Local media reported that the bear, a three-year-old cub, is unafraid of human visitors and often puts on a show for them.
But one expert warned: 'Bears, even if they look harmless, remain wild animals whose behaviour is unpredictable.
'In addition, the bear cub is about three years old, which means that his mother bear may be nearby.
'These animals are especially aggressive and protect their cubs, so it is extremely dangerous to approach them.
'Bears can be aggressive and attack if they feel their cubs are threatened.'
Experts note that bears scratch on trees not only to relieve itching but also to mark their territory, signaling others to stay away.
