This is the bizarre moment a panting panda is revealed to be a black-and-white dyed dog at a zoo in China.

Visitors demanded refunds when the supposed panda started panting and barking, exposing its true identity as a canine on September 15.

The footage was recorded at a park in Shanwei, Guangdong Province, which showcases 'rare and exotic animals'.

The zoo claimed it had not misled guests, stating that the animals were actually 'panda dogs'.

However, when questioned by local media, they admitted to dyeing two Chow Chows - a dog breed from northern China renowned for its thick coat.

Tourists grew suspicious of how the so-called panda was panting, and when it barked, they quickly realised it was more a dog than a bear.
