This daring 84-year-old grandmother set a new age record for skydivers in Jingmen, Hubei Province, with an incredible 3,000-metre descent.

The woman named Tao hails from Huanggang and her inspiration came from her daughter, who bravely tried skydiving at the same base last year and shared the experience with her. Additionally, after seeing news of a 102-year-old overseas senior skydiver online, the grandmother was even more determined to challenge herself.

Before the jump, she ensured her health was in good condition and signed a detailed skydiving agreement. During the jump, she experienced the thrill and excitement of free falling while taking in the breathtaking views of Zhanghe River. After landing, the grandmother said the experience was unforgettable and made her feel a sense of freedom and passion like never before.
