New video has surfaced of Sean "P Diddy" Combs mingling with fans in New York City's Washington Square Park days before his arrest. "

The video shows the 54-year-old rapper and entrepreneur appearing calm and collected as he snapped photos with onlookers.

Witnesses reported that Diddy seemed deep in thought during the unexpected visit.

"I was getting out of work and saw him and didn't talk to him — just recorded a video," local Paul Keen, 38, said."

"He seemed pretty focused and calm, like he was thinking deeply about something. After he left the park, I saw him heading towards 5th Avenue."

The video - which was posted to X on Saturday (14) shows the rapper dressed casually in a white jacket and black shades,

The hip-hop icon drew a small crowd of fans, many of whom were curious about his laid-back demeanor and his willingness to be in the public eye.

Just a few hours later, Diddy was arrested and charged with racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution after being hit with multiple lawsuits.

Victims alleged that the star hosted a number of sex parties where women were physically and verbally abused, it has been reported.

Meanwhile, Combs' attorney, Marc Agnifilo, proclaims his client's innocence.

"Sean 'Diddy' Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man, and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children, and working to uplift the Black community," Agnifilo said. "

"He is an imperfect person but he is not a criminal."

"To his credit Mr. Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges," Agnifilo added. "

"Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court."
