Northridge, Los Angeles, United States - September 19, 2024

A hit-and-run traffic collision occurred at 9:20 p.m. Thursday in the Northridge area, leaving one bicyclist dead.
The incident took place on the 8500 block of North Lindley Avenue. Emergency responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived at the scene, but the victim was pronounced dead shortly after their arrival.

Officer Miller, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department, confirmed the incident was a hit-and-run felony and told Key News Network that the victim was a 51-year-old man.
The Los Angeles Police Department had closed both the northbound and southbound lanes of Lindley Avenue near Napa Street as the investigation continued.
