In a harrowing incident in northern India's Uttar Pradesh, a girl got stuck on the pillar of an elevated road following a scooter accident.

The incident took place in Sector 25 of Noida city on September 21.

Visuals showed two men attempting to rescue the girl as she clung between the elevated road pillar, while concerned locals gathered at the scene. Fire department officials arrived, placing a ladder to climb the elevated pillar, successfully rescuing the girl and the two men with the help of a trolley machine. The girl was promptly taken to the hospital in an ambulance, while rescuers cleared the crowd and left the site after the rescue.

Speaking to Newslions, Station House Officer of Sector 20 Police Station, Noida, Dharma Prakash Shukla stated that at around 12:45 PM, a scooter driver and his female companion, traveling from Sector 18 to Ghaziabad, lost control of their vehicle after a WagonR driver made a sudden turn on the elevated bridge near Mangal Bazar. The scooter collided with the divider, causing the woman to be thrown onto an empty space on the pillar.

Upon being informed, the police and fire brigade teams from Sector 20 rushed to the scene, rescuing the girl and two others. All injured individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment, with further actions being taken.
