STORYLINE:

A tempered glass company in China's Gansu Province employs dozens of people with disabilities, including over 20 hearing and speech-impaired staff members.

The company helps the staff members to become self-reliant and recognize their own value in life.

"After more than 30 years of development, our company has grown to cover an area of over 30,000 square meters, with 85 employees, including 22 hearing and speech-impaired staff members. The main purpose of employing hearing and speech-impaired individuals is to address the difficulties faced by people with disabilities in finding employment."

43-year-old Wei Xiaoliang has a disability in his right hand. After joining the company in 2018, he has been working hard, and grown from an ordinary worker to the sales supervisor of the company.

"We are people with disabilities, we feel welcome working here. Additionally, the company doesn't discriminate based on physical limitations. As long as you have the ability and work hard, there is plenty of room for advancement. The salary is good, and our family's financial situation has improved significantly compared to before. Right now, I'm focused on doing my job well, learning more, and working hard, aiming to reach even greater heights."
