SOUNDBITE (English): JEREMIA NGHIPUNDJUA, MoHSS Acting Executive Director
"This great team from China actually brought medical services and acupuncture services. Their contributions that the People's Republic of China has made in the sector of health in Namibia is marvelous. China has been cooperating with Namibia in a number of areas. We have received support in terms of the construction of health facilities, training of health professionals, and many, many others.
The Chinese medical team is a professional team. They are providing excellent services. They are doing it professionally. And like I said, the services are being appreciated by the people and they are really providing treatment options to the people of Namibia."
Since 1996, the Chinese government has consistently sent medical teams to Namibia to enhance healthcare services in the country.
