Locals hold down market stalls being blown by Tropical Storm Soulik
Vendors held down tents to keep them from being blown away by a storm.
Footage shows the locals supporting the pitched stalls as heavy rain from Tropical Storm Soulik lashed through Bangkok, Thailand, on September 20.
Strong winds destroyed the roof of one of the canopies, so the owners left and took refuge inside their cars.
Damaged tents lined the open area after the bad weather, although no one was hurt.
Tropical Storm Soulik originated as a low-pressure area in the Philippines and headed to Vietnam, where it made landfall on September 19.
It continued westward inland over Laos and Thailand before weakening.
Soulik triggered landslides and flooding, leading to evacuations of thousands of families in the region.
