"Trolls tell me we should have aborted our son - because he was born with no limbs"
A mum says trolls tell her she should have "aborted" her son because he was born without arms and legs - but says "nothing is going to stop him"."
Little Byson Cox, just 10-weeks-old, was born with a congenital limb difference - which means he was born without arms and legs.
Parents Bonnie, 24, and Tyler Cox, 27, were "scared" when they first found out at their 20 week scan but there was never a question over keeping him."
Bryson was born via emergency c-section on July 6, 2024 weighing exactly 4lbs and Bonnie instantly thought he was "perfect"."
He is already rolling around, looking around, and babbling, and the parents are excited him to see him grow.
Bonnie said cruel trolls said Bryson "should have never been born" and they should "have got an abortion" but the parents said he's just like a "normal newborn"."
Bonnie, an emergency nurse, who live near Greensboro, North Carolina, said: "Finding out about his limb difference was one of the hardest days of our lives."
"We were completely shell-shocked and felt so alone."
"We used to be scared by it because we were so ignorant at how it is amazing and beautiful."
"We want to be that voice for normalising limb difference."
"We want to show Bryson growing up and he will be seen to do anything he wants to do."
"Some people have said things like he should have never been born and we should have gotten an abortion."
"They said he's never going to have a normal life."
"We're not going to give any credit to these people."
"Nothing is going to stop this kid."
Bonnie and Tyler, a barber, had been married for four years when they started trying for a baby and found out in December 2023 that Bonnie was pregnant.
Bonnie said: "We were just so excited."
"We were over the moon."
Bonnie's pregnancy went smoothly until her 20-week scan.
She said: "In there with the sonographer she did a really good job of making everything normal."
"She left and said she'd be back."
"When the doctor came back in we both knew something was wrong."
"She explained that they were not seeing any bone formation below his elbows and below his knees."
"Both of us didn't hear anything she said after that."
"We were so scared. We were so sad and so confused."
"Your mind goes to all the worst places."
The couple were told all their options - including termination - but this was "never an option" for them."
Bonnie said: "After the first couple of weeks after we got our heads around it we treated it like a normal pregnancy."
"We looked at others with limb difference."
"We started getting really excited to meet him."
Bonnie was rushed for an emergency c-section at Brenner Children's Hospital six weeks before her due date after developing pre-eclampsia.
She got a glimpse of Bryson before he was taken to the neonatal unit as his lungs were still small - where they were then able to meet him properly.
Bonnie said: "He was so perfect. He was so tiny."
"He is the most beautiful baby."
Bryson spent 16 days in hospital before coming home.
Bonnie said there have been some cruel comments online about Bryson after they decided to share his progress on TikTok - but they have only seen him go from strength to strength.
She said: "He's already rolling over. He's always looking around, he's so curious."
"He can use his little arm to push his pacifier into his mouth. "
"He's got a little bit of an attitude on him."
He's already babbling a lot.
"He's going to live an amazing life."
"He's going to be happy and healthy."
"He's a normal newborn."
Bonnie and Tyler still don't have a reason or name for his limb difference other than congenital limb difference hope Bryson will get fitted with prosthetics at around nine-months old.
They hope sharing Bryson's story can raise awareness for limb difference.
Bonnie said: "We want other people to know life can be beautiful if your circumstances are different to what you expected."
"We're so excited to watch all the incredible things he is going to do."
Tyler added: "Being Bryson's dad has given me a new understanding of unconditional love. "
"There's nothing that I wouldn't do for that little boy. He deserves to feel loved and accepted by everyone and that's our main goal here. "
"Bryson boy is definitely my little best friend and I can't wait to come home to him every day."
