China has seen a "China travel" boom this year thanks to a series of measures aimed at facilitating inbound tourism.

At the 8th Conference of Hebei Tourism Industry Development, which was held from Sunday to Tuesday in Langfang City and Dingzhou City, international participants have applauded China's tourism facilitation measures and shown more interest in exploring China.

"This year was an important year as the Chinese government implemented a lot of new policies, specifically the 2-weeks visa-free policy for a lot of countries, including my country, so including France. So it's of course a very good, very huge advantage. Why coming to China when we are French? Because we are here, you can see beautiful landscape that you cannot see anywhere else in the world. As French people doing tourism in China, it's also our job to promote China to French people. So it's our responsibility to all of us in the tourism industry to promote tourism destination to European people. It's our job to do it now."

"So to many tourists outside China, they come the main purpose is to explore the culture. And of course, food is very important. And I know that Hebei has a lot of different counties, cities, which are famous for different types of the world cultural heritage. And secondly, I think Hebei is a wonderful province, because it has a huge combination of nature. You can see desert and also there are highland, grasslands, also by the sea. A lot of historical places, I know several many thousands years ago."
