Ganga river continues to wreak havoc in Bhagalpur, Bihar. The water level of the river Ganga is continuously rising, low lying areas are flooded and people are facing a lot of problems.

According to the villager sources one person has died suddenly flood inter in the village.

Flood water spread rapidly in many areas. Bhagalpur-Kahalgaon NH 80 has been submerged. The district administration has set up relief camps in the flood affected areas. Many trains have had to be canceled and many have been diverted.

Along with this, the river of Ganga is flowing at such a speed between Farka Library Gate and Ghoshpur on NH-80 that the traffic has completely come to a standstill. Ganga water has also entered Bhagalpur city. People are migrating from flood affected areas and reaching safe places. Life has become completely disrupted.
