Patna Police Return 171 Stolen Phones Worth Rs 25 Lakh, Including Several iPhones, Under ‘Operation Muskaan’
The Patna Police have successfully returned 171 stolen or lost mobile phones, worth approximately Rs 25 lakh, to their rightful owners as part of their ongoing initiative, Operation Muskaan. The phones, which include several high-end models like iPhones, were distributed back to the victims in a formal handover.
This marks the 10th phase of the operation, which focuses on curbing phone snatching and theft in the region. So far, the initiative has led to the retrieval of phones worth Rs 2 crore, significantly aiding victims of mobile theft.
In addition to recovering the phones, the police also arrested 24 individuals involved in these criminal activities.
