This is the shocking moment a barge crashed into a bridge in China.

The old wooden boat met its end when it capsized due to the impact with the concrete road bridge over the Tuohe River in Suzhou, Anhui, on September 20.

Footage shows the ship, designed like an old wooden house, hitting the aqueduct and wrecking the structure into pieces, with only the hull remaining intact and floating in the water.

Wooden debris and other items were seen scattered in the river, swept away by the strong current.

The boat was reportedly carried away by floodwaters from the recent rainstorm, causing it to drift freely in the river's strong current.
