Vendors cling to stall to stop it being blow away
This is the moment vendors clung to their stall to stop it from being blown away by a fierce storm.
Footage shows the sellers gripping the poles of the tent as it was being battered by heavy rain with freak winds from Storm Soulik in Nonthaburi, Thailand, on September 20.
They were stranded on the roadside when there was a sudden downpour.
Onlooker Pantharee Khroerat said: ‘It was so scary. We could not do anything but wait until the storm passed.'
Tropical Storm Soulik originated as a low-pressure area in the Philippines and headed to Vietnam where it made landfall on September 19.
It continued westward inland over Laos and Thailand before weakening.
Soulik triggered landslides and flooding leading to mass evacuations of thousands of families in the region.
