This is the shocking moment a Winnie the Pooh mascot was hit on the head by a tourist at Disneyland.

The bear cartoon character was walking through a crowd of holidaymakers when an elderly man slammed the back of its head in Shanghai, China, on September 23.

Footage shows the performer holding onto the heavy mask. Moments later, a commotion occurred from what happened.

The staff member wearing the Pooh costume, seemingly dizzy, was then surrounded by female employees. The guides assisted the mascot in standing up and scolded the tourist.

Winnie the Pooh, or simply Pooh, is one of the most popular Disney characters. He is a friendly bear who is always willing to help his friends despite being slow-witted and naive.
