US: Van Nuys Apartment Unit Burns Possible Arson

09/25/2024 01:11 am (GMT-0700) | VAN NUYS, LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Fire Department and the Los Angeles Police Department Van Nuys Division responded to a structure fire in the 6900 block of North Sepulveda Boulevard. Upon arrival, LAFD found a fire in a third-floor unit. The flames were quickly knocked down, and a woman who lives in the apartment was detained by police. Other residents were evacuated from the building. Unknown if any injuries occurred. The cause of the fire is also unknown at this time.
