On September 20, an unexpected incident occurred at a middle school in Jurong, Zhenjiang, southern China. A student's finger became lodged in a hole of a classroom desk, leaving him unable to free himself. Upon receiving the emergency call, the 119 Command Center promptly dispatched firefighters from the local fire station to the scene.

Upon arrival, the rescuers found the junior high school boy's finger swollen and red, indicating prolonged confinement. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, the firefighters immediately sprang into action. They first applied lubricant to the trapped finger, hoping to ease its release.

As the boy, overwhelmed by pain and fear, cried out in discomfort, the firefighters patiently soothed him while delicately manipulating his finger. Seizing a moment of distraction, they swiftly extracted the finger from its confines. Following a thorough examination, it was confirmed that, apart from some pressure marks on the finger joint, the boy was unharmed.

The video was provided with permission from local media.
