Technological advancements in mobility, other areas on display at China-ASEAN Expo

"We want to know more about motorcycles, electric motorcycles, and we want to take some ones to Mexico. It’s a great opportunity for mobility. And in Mexico, we need that. We need more opportunities of mobility, you know. More safe, ecologically safe [ones]."

Wuling, a Chinese car manufacturer, launched here at the Expo its concept EV named Light of ASEAN. Car manufacturers point out that ASEAN countries represent a strong potential market for electric vehicles.

Michael Gao, Overseas Sales Director, NETA, China:

"ASEAN is a strategic and important market for NETA. We have launched five models in the ASEAN region, two of which are right-hand drive vehicles prepared for KD plants in Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia. In Thailand, we have an annual production capacity of over 20-thousand cars, with mass production already underway and deliveries happening continuously."
