Main wreckage of Navy helicopter involved in fatal crash salvaged from English Channel
The main section of the Royal Navy Merlin Mk4 helicopter that crashed on the September 4 was raised from the sea bed and brought to Portland on September 26.
It was loaded onto the back of a low loader lorry, other parts were taken away at the same time.
A Royal Navy serviceman was killed when the helicopter ditched in the Channel he was named as 31-year-old Lieutenant Rhodri Leyshon.
