Israel's escalation of attacks on Lebanon and the assassination of Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah have sparked reactions. The "Palestine Action Committee", formed by many leftist groups in Istanbul, marched to the Israeli Consulate to protest the attacks on Lebanon and Palestine. Hundreds of people marched with the slogan "From the river to the sea Palestine will be free" and gave messages of support to the resistance forces in Palestine and Lebanon. The actioners called on the Turkish government to cut all relations with Israel and impose an embargo on Israel. During the march, a Hezbollah flag was unfurled alongside Palestinian flags.
