STORYLINE:

The 2024 International Trade Fair for Transport Technology (InnoTrans) was held in Berlin from Sept. 24 to 27.

At the expo, China's CRRC Corporation Limited unveiled its hydrogen-powered train, the "CINOVA H2," which can reach a speed of up to 200 km per hour.

The zero-emission train generates electricity through hydrogen-oxygen reaction, producing only water as a byproduct.

"My name is Andre. I'm an ordinary train fan, and I'm over here at InnoTrans 2024. I've seen a lot of amazing trains over here already. Tons of people are waiting to explore them. But of course, we're here for one star of the show, CINOVA H2. Follow me and let's have a look.
My god! You could tell it's packed. Everyone is waiting for this CINOVA H2.
On the window of CINOVA H2, it's not just a normal window. It's gonna be a smart screen addition to it. We are going to get line information, platform navigation, nearby food, anything you could possibly need on the train. But of course if you want to enjoy the view, if you want to also tend the night, we also have our transparent modes where you can lighten it up, where you can see 100% outside, or if you want to darken, you can always darken it up as well.
What happens if your phone is out of battery, of course, built-in wireless charger, charging your phone right on the spot. It has also a really nice recline of 15 degrees. We're gonna be able to enjoy a very, very nice rest. I would say the experience itself, it's amazing.
Here it's the control room. You're gonna have a really nice view, full 180. It's not gonna feel crowded in here at all. CINOVA H2, of course, it's the perfect combination between eco-friendly and futuristic, example with the design of everything. From over here, you're gonna see the water drop fountain going from the top, bottom to the top. After that, you're gonna see example like the forest with the green and also with the leaves coming out of maybe on the side.
As a bike lover myself, this is always gonna be a pleasing to see bike racks that keep your bike nice and steady. You don't have to worry about them falling over while on the train. So with something like this, it helps keep the train itself clean, steady, easy-going.
First question is about the admission. Is it a truly 100% zero (emission)?"

"The train is powered by hydrogen and the hydrogen we used the hydrogen fuel cells to convert hydrogen directly to electricity, so there is no emission when the train is running."
