US, Los Angeles: Lancaster Argument Leads to Fatal Shooting
Los Angeles, United States - September 29, 2024
09/29/2024 12:20 am (GMT-0700) | LANCASTER, Calif. – Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Lancaster Station responded to the Willow Creek Village Apartments on 15th Street West in Lancaster for a report of shots fired and at least one person down on the ground.
Upon arrival, deputies located a male Black victim who had suffered a gunshot wound. Deputies began CPR immediately. Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel arrived soon after and administered CPR, first aid and other lifesaving techniques. The victim was pronounced deceased on the scene despite the efforts of first responders.
The only suspect information that was made available described three adult males who fled in an unknown direction. This homicide is currently under investigation, and no further details were available at the time of this report.
