The continuous rainfall since last Friday has triggered deadly floods and landslides, sweeping away homes and burying entire communities. By Monday, the death toll had risen to nearly 200, with at least 30 still missing. Highways across the country have been blocked by landslides, cutting off vital transport links and disrupting life in many regions. Hundreds of families have been displaced, their homes either buried under debris or washed away in the floodwaters. Nepal continues to grapple with the aftermath of this natural disaster as rescue operations remain underway.
