Nepal flash floods smashed into homes, killing at least 192 people.

Dramatic footage shows the destructive deluge caused by monsoon rains, with debris carried away by the torrents on September 28.

Home Ministry Spokesman Rishiram Tiwari reported that around 194 others have been injured in the disaster, while 30 remain missing.

Officials said the relentless rains began late Thursday, ravaging much of the country, particularly in the eastern and central regions.

Local media reported that 10,000 police officers, volunteers, and army members had been mobilised for search and rescue efforts.

Authorities anticipate the death toll will rise as rescue teams reach more remote and isolated areas despite rescuing over 3,700 residents.
