A wild boar is running amok in the Geringging River, Padang Pariaman Regency, West Sumatra (Sumbar). The animal, which is often hunted in the sport of pig hunting, attacked and injured two residents. This incident is known to have occurred on Sunday (29/9/2024), near the Sungai Geringging Market football field. At the time of the incident, there was a pig hunting activity being held by the Padang Pariaman Pig Hunting Sports Association (PORBI). It is suspected that the pig escaped from the hunters and entered residential areas. Mayor of Korong Koto Village, Nagari Batu Gadang, Sungai Geringging District, Supriadi, said that the pig that was being hunted went berserk and injured two of his residents.
