A Take That superfan has filmed a video every week for a YEAR in a bid to get the band to perform in her town.

Becky Williams, 42, started videos posting videos in September 2023, hoping that Take That would see the video and perform at The Peace Hall, Halifax.

She has been a fan of the band since she was 10 years old and has been to see them 10 times over the years.

So far, Becky's efforts have been unsuccessful but she hopes that will change and she can listen to her favourite song, 'The Greatest Day', in her home town.

Becky, a teaching assistant, from Halifax, West Yorkshire, said: "They announced their tour in September."

"My friends from work were saying if they don't announce that they are coming to The Peace Hall I should send Gary Barlow a message."

"I made a video as a joke saying, 'Good morning, Gary Barlow. I can't believe you're not coming."

"The following week I did another one saying I can't believe that he hasn't got back to me."

"I had a few people saying they were never going to come to The Peace Hall which drove me on more."

Becky has been a fan of Take That since she was 10 years old.

She said her mum would often take her and her friends to Mark Owen's house in Oldham on the weekends to see if they could spot him.

Becky said: "At the time, you were either an East 17 fan or a Take That fan - you couldn't be both."

"We all fancied them, we loved the music and whenever I hear them now it brings back loads of memories from when I was little."

"I love loads of their music, I love all the old stuff and I love the new stuff."

"I couldn't pick one favourite song."

After a year of publishing the videos, Becky is calling it a day but said she still hasn't given up hope on Take That performing in Halifax.

She said: "It would be nice if Gary replied to me, I have been a fan for so long."

"It would really make my day."

"They have only announced one band for The Peace Hall next year, so there is a lot of space for them to perform."
