On September 29, Hailar City in Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia, was hit by a sudden snowstorm, with snow piling up to 30cm within just a few hours.

The heavy snowfall trapped multiple vehicles, including a tour bus from Guangdong, which was stuck on the road for over 20 hours.

In response to the emergency, local government and transportation authorities acted quickly, dispatching snow removal equipment and rescue personnel for a large-scale road clearing operation.

By 8 am on September 30, over 200 rescue personnel and more than 50 vehicles had been deployed, including 26 snowplows and bulldozers, and 16 armoured transport vehicles. Additionally, 2 tons of fuel, 140 military coats, 110 blankets, and over 400 boxes of food and drinking water were delivered. In total, more than 500 stranded individuals were relocated and assisted, effectively alleviating the crisis caused by the snowstorm.
