Passengers given fright as whale nearly flips dive boat off South Africa's coast
A group of passengers were given a fright as a curious southern right whale almost flipped their boat over off the coast of South Africa.
Footage shows the moment the whales approached the vessel for a closer look before one breached the surface and bumped into the boat.
The filmer said: "As a dive boat in South Africa was on anchor and waiting for the divers to surface these two inquisitive southern right whales approached for a closer look.
"After a long look one of them swam under the boat and accidentally bumped the boat causing the whale and passengers a huge scare that could have ended in the boat flipping over. Luckily no one was hurt and the whales surfaced and swam away shortly after."
