Stranded cow rescued from pit in Russia
A stranded cow was rescued from a pit in Russia.
Residents noticed the cries of the bovine stranded in the deep hole, prompting them to call for help to retrieve the animal late in the evening in Vladikavkaz, North Ossetia, on September 30.
Footage shows the Ardon Rescue Squad of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry (EMERCOM) employing an auto ladder to carefully hoist the cow to safety.
The animal reportedly did not sustain any serious injuries from the incident.
