A train driver shimmed along 100ft high bridge girders to fix a carriage.

Footage shows assistant loco pilot Ramji Kumar on the bridge pillars after he climbed down from the passenger train to address an air leakage while it was stopped over a river.

The incident occurred on September 26 as the 15657 Up Brahmaputra Mail traveled from Old Delhi Railway Station to Kamkhya. He was with locomotive driver RK Ranjan.

Authorities reported that the passenger train halted at bridge number 456 between Bijni Railway Station and Patiladah near Rangiya Junction in Assam.

Then, Kumar disembarked the train and went from the engine to the 21st bogie.

After fixing the air leakage, he boarded the train again, and it resumed its journey.
