Dilligent saver cracks open his bamboo pole piggy bank
A youngster diligently saved his money and was delighted to crack open his bamboo pole piggy bank.
Footage shows Mark Joshua Palado using a bolo knife to cut through the top of the culm in Ilocos Sur, the Philippines on September 30.
He laughed when it split and harvested the coins despite almost half of its weight were wood rot residue.
Mark said: ‘That was why I only put coins inside the bamboo and not paper bank notes. I am still happy with what I saved.'
