A noodle restaurant uses a zipline to easily slide food to customers in a neighbouring building.

The shop owner wanted to cut time and effort delivering the packed lunch of noodles and meatballs to fifth-floor office workers and thought of a DIY solution in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Footage shows a customer letting his money glide through a cable to reach the seller, who then slides down a plastic bag with a freshly cooked hot meal.

Office worker Nurul Hidayah Binti Zakariah, who also orders from the restaurant, said: ‘It was a genius idea. Walking outside the building and queueing to buy food used to take half of our lunch break.

‘Now, we only tell them what we want, and they slide it to us. It takes less than a minute.'

The rope was installed from the office building's car park and an apartment beside it where the restaurant operates on the ground floor.

Nurul added: ‘It is hilarious but works perfectly.'
