Mischievous monkey rips toupee off man's head at tourist hotspot in central China
On October 1, at Qianling Mountain Scenic Area in Guizhou, while a man was sightseeing, a mischievous monkey suddenly leaped from a tree, climbed onto his shoulder, and clung to his head, refusing to let go.
The monkey then snatched the man's toupee. The man was startled by the sudden "attack," and while laughing awkwardly, he covered his now-bald head. Onlookers burst into laughter at the scene.
Staff at the Qianling Mountain Scenic Area explained that the monkeys are one of the park’s main attractions. They are lively and enjoy interacting with visitors. However, to ensure the safety and comfort of guests, the park advises visitors to avoid direct eye contact with the monkeys and to refrain from wearing bright clothing or shiny accessories, as these can attract the monkeys' attention.
Additionally, the park has increased patrols to ensure that visitors can receive timely assistance if they encounter any "attacks" from the monkeys.
