Video captured the moment of Floodwaters rising more than two metres submerged thousands of houses due to heavy rains in Lao Cai, in northern Vietnam.
According to the man, the heavy rain caused severe flooding in their area, the water level rose two meters in just a few hours. People had to use wooden logs to make rafts to move out of the flooded area. The heavy rain caused their entire area to be submerged in floodwater. Thousands of houses were flooded. Landslides occurred, injuring dozens of people.
