The incident occurred on the GO-020 road from Bela Vista to Goiania, Brazil, on the 22nd of September.

After the confrontation, the suspects who were shot were taken by the Military Police, but they died before reaching the hospital.

Two firearms were seized. The car they were using had been stolen in Goianira and had false license plates.
