This is the dramatic moment a resident saved a motorcycle rider stranded in floods in Thailand.

The motorcyclist was being swept away by raging muddy waters when he was trying to manoeuver his motorcycle in the middle of the road in Chiang Rai on October 1.

Footage shows the rescuer carefully grabbing the victim and helping him regain his balance.

The biker did not sustain any serious injuries from the incident.
