Typhoon Krathon Slams Kaohsiung Harbor Area with Unprecedented Force – Massive Destruction as Winds Topple Buildings"

Typhoon Krathon battered Taiwan’s southern city of Kaohsiung today, bringing fierce winds and torrential rain that caused massive destruction. The storm, one of the strongest in a decade, made landfall in the morning, with videos from around 10:30 AM showing the typhoon’s overwhelming force near Kaohsiung harbor.

Sam, the filmer, described the scene: 'Winds were extremely strong in the morning. It was dangerous to be outside, even in a car. Flying metal, falling rocks, and glass from buildings were everywhere. There's a ton of debris outside. This is the worst typhoon I’ve seen in 10 years, and I’m sure the economic damage will be huge.'

Footage shows the city streets littered with debris, with strong winds continuing to wreak havoc. Authorities are urging everyone to stay indoors as the storm still poses significant dangers. Krathon's destructive path is expected to cause severe flooding and widespread damage in Kaohsiung."
