In a dramatic incident in northern India's Jammu and Kashmir, locals rushed to extinguish a fire that engulfed a house, causing widespread panic.

The incident took place in the Banihal in Ramban district on October 3.

Visuals showed the house engulfed in flames, with thick black smoke billowing from the structure, highlighting the intensity of the situation. Residents were seen frantically carrying buckets of water, desperately trying to control the massive blaze. Despite their efforts, the fire raged on, leaving the community in distress as they battled to put it out.

According to reports, the house belonged to an individual named Wali Mohammad Naik. Local Police authorities are investigating the cause of the fire, and the community remains on edge, hoping for answers.
