A crowd that the organizers estimated at one and a half million people took to the streets across the country to put a stop to Javier Milei's cuts to public education and to reject the veto of the University Financing Law announced by the President. In Buenos Aires, the march in front of Congress attracted the support not only of the educational community, but also of unions, social, political and human rights organizations, representatives of the entire opposition political spectrum, who sent a message to deputies and senators to defend the law that recomposes the university budget. In another provocation, the President signed the announced veto a few hours after the march. "We do not want our dreams to be taken away from us. Our future does not belong to them," said the president of the Argentine University Federation (FUA), Piera Fernández de Piccoli, on the stage of the event.
