US, Los Angeles: Van Nuys Stabbing Suspect Barricaded With Baby

10/03/2024 01:40 am (GMT-0700) | VAN NUYS, LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Police Department responded to a "cutting investigation" in the 13500 block of Sherman Way at 12:49 a.m., Officer Im, a spokesperson for the LAPD, told KNN.
A female suspect had allegedly assaulted someone with a knife. The stabbed victim was transported to a local hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics.
The suspect also barricaded with a baby. Ultimately, she was taken into custody by officers and was also transported to a local hospital. The baby was unharmed and transported to a local hospital.
The female suspect was observed hitting the window of the squad car while she was in the back seat.
