This is the adorable moment a Rockhopper Penguin bounces through its enclosure at Perth Zoo.

Footage shows Pascale doing her tap dance routine on October 2. This charming display of rhythmic foot slaps, as described by the zoo, offers a rare glimpse into the life of one of nature's smaller but equally fascinating penguin species.

Pascale is a rescued Northern Rockhopper, found washed up on a beach in the southwest.

Rockhopper penguins, standing at a modest 20 inches when fully grown, visually differ from other penguin species. Their unique red eyes, orange beak, pink webbed feet, and distinctive yellow and black spiky feathers set them apart.

Male and female Rockhoppers are indistinguishable to the naked eye, requiring a DNA test for gender determination.
