This is the moment when a motorcycle with two teenagers crashes into a car at full speed, making them fly into the air in a terrifying somersault.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Michmana Pavlova and Universitetskaya streets in Cheboksary, Chuvashia, Russia on 28th September.

Police footage shows a car turning around and a motorcycle rushing at full speed towards it.

The motorcycle crashes into the car, flipping over and the two teenagers can be seen flying in a terrifying somersault and landing on the asphalt.

Both teenagers were injured.

The images were obtained from the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Cheboksary., along with a statement saying: "In Cheboksary, the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate is investigating the circumstances of a collision between a pit bike and a Kia Rio.

"The accident occurred on September 28 at 19:00 at the intersection of Michmana Pavlova and Universitetskaya streets.
"A 42-year-old woman was driving the car.

"The pit bike was driven by a 14-year-old schoolboy who was transporting a passenger of the same age.

"Both teenagers were injured, one of them had a fracture of both legs."
