Yokohama, Japan - October 01, 2024

Overseas Chinese communities have celebrated the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and expressed their profound affection and best wishes for the homeland.

In Yokohama, a city in Japan, more than 1,000 overseas Chinese took to the streets in a grand parade through the local Chinatown to mark the occasion on Tuesday.

The overseas Chinese in Islamabad, capital of Pakistan, also celebrated the anniversary.

The celebration, held by the Overseas Chinese Association of Pakistan and the All-Pakistan Chinese Enterprises' Association on Sept 25, was attended by dignitaries from both countries, and over 500 business representatives, students, and other overseas Chinese.

Overseas Chinese in Sri Lanka also sent their heartfelt wishes to the homeland.
