STORYLINE:
The number of displaced people in Lebanon due to Israeli airstrikes has risen to nearly 1.2 million, according to a report released Wednesday by the Disaster Risk Management Unit at the Lebanese Council of Ministers.
So far, 867 centers have been opened to shelter displaced persons across Lebanon, with nearly 3/4 of them reaching their maximum capacity.
While some have fled to other countries, still some refused to leave the most targeted areas.

"Despite the war and destruction, there are still people who did not leave south Lebanon and there are young men who are steadfast. The shelling and airstrikes were heavy and despite that, you see people who walk to the targeted sites to inspect."
