Thousands of people gathered in Istanbul at the call of left-socialist organizations and marched in support of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, which was launched on October 7, 2023. Organized by the Palestine Action Committee, hundreds of Palestinian flags were carried in the action, along with photographs of known Palestinian guerrillas, Palestinians assassinated by Israel, and Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.

Pro-Palestinians marching from Taksim Square to Dolmabahce also protested the German Consulate on the road with slogans such as "Murderer Israel, collaborator Germany.", "Shame on you."
