At least 21 people died in the CATASTROPHIC floods that hit Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the area of ​​Jablanica alone, 17 people died in the floods and landslides that hit BiH last night. It is feared that the death toll could be significantly higher, as many people are considered missing.

A large number of houses were demolished, roads, bridges, and even a railway line collapsed. Accommodation is being sought for a large number of people who have become homeless.

"So far, it has been determined that 16 people have died," said the MUP of the Herzegovina-Neretva County, referring to the victims whose bodies were found in Jablanica. Jablanica was the most severely affected municipality in last night's floods. According to media reports, dozens of people are being sought in the settlement of Donja Jablanica, so it is feared that the black balance of the floods is much higher.
